Boeing Co. has moved a step closer to introducing a larger version of its new 787 Dreamliner, holding detailed discussions with potential customers. The proposed 787-10 would be the third version of the jet and seat around 323 passengers. That is 40 more than the 787-9, which is expected to enter service in early 2014. The new version would compete with the Airbus A330-300, which is popular on trans-Atlantic and some Pacific Ocean crossings. Airbus is a unit of European Aeronautic Defence & Space Co.
