OMG posts record sales and profits
The technology company that provided motion capture for films including Iron Man 2 and Tron Legacy, reported record sales and profits yesterday.
OMG, which is listed on the Alternative Investment Market, also does visual imaging for athletes, medical purposes and virtual reality displays used in engineering. Revenues at the Oxford-based group rose almost 20 per cent to £31.2m while pre-tax profits trebled to £3.2m. This was driven by a recovery in the North American market, as well as the signing the biggest single contract in the firm's history.
