N Brown Group Plc

DIRECTORATE CHANGE

The Board of N Brown Group plc (the "Company" or "N Brown"), the online, catalogue and stores retailer, announces that Dean Moore, Chief Financial Officer, is to step down as a Director of the Company to pursue other interests.

Dean has been Chief Financial Officer for 11 successful years and the Board would like to thank him for his very significant contribution to the Company during that time and wish him every success in the future.

Angela Spindler, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"Dean has given excellent and long service to N Brown.  In particular, he has been a great support to me over the last 18 months, providing important continuity through the leadership transition. The business change programme is progressing well, our performance is in line with our expectations and now feels like a good time, for all concerned, to make this important change. Dean has made a significant contribution to the past and future success of the business and I would personally like to acknowledge and thank him."

Dean Moore, Chief Financial Officer, added:

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at N Brown and being part of the company's evolution.  I would like to thank my team and the Board for their support over the last eleven years.  I now look forward to exploring other challenges outside of the business."

At the same time the Board of N Brown Group plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Lovelace as the new Chief Financial Officer of the Company.  It is anticipated that Craig, who is currently Group Chief Financial Officer for General Healthcare Group ("GHG") trading as BMI Healthcare, will join N Brown in the new financial year following the completion of his existing contractual obligations.

Dean will remain with the business in the short term to ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities.

Craig is currently Group Chief Financial Officer for General Healthcare Group ("GHG"), which trading as BMI Healthcare, is the UK's largest private hospital operator with over 60 hospitals generating revenues of c.£900m and EBITDA of c.£200m. Craig joined GHG as Deputy CFO in 2010 and has served as CFO of GHG since 2012.

Prior to this, he was Group Financial Controller of Regus plc from 2007 to 2010, and in the twelve years preceding this, held a number of senior finance roles in the UK, US and Europe at Electronic Arts Inc. and PwC. 

Craig is a qualified Chartered Accountant, holds a 1st class BSc in Land Management from the University of Reading and was highly commended in the 2013 ICAEW/CBI FD Excellence Awards as Young FD of the Year.  Craig has operated in multi-site, multi-platform businesses of scale.  His sector experience includes technology, B to C interactive and online media, and healthcare.
