Top up Offer for subscription of new ordinary shares of 5p each ("New Ordinary Shares")

Amati VCT 2 plc ("the Company") announces an allotment on 19 January 2015 of 89,255 New Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Offer. The Offer price at which the New Ordinary Shares were allotted was 110.91p per share, which was calculated by reference to the net asset value of an Ordinary Share on 15 January 2015 divided by 0.98 (to allow for issue costs of 2.0 per cent).

Following the allotment, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 28,670,817 with voting rights.

Admission date of the New Ordinary Shares is expected to be 23 January 2015.  CREST accounts are expected to be credited within five business days of allotment and definitive documents of title are expected to be dispatched within ten business days of allotment.
