Final Dividend

The Board of Aberforth Smaller Companies Trust plc today announced a proposed
final dividend of 17.00p per ordinary share in respect of the year ending 31
December 2014 and, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM to be held on 27
February 2015, will be paid on 5 March 2015 to shareholders on the register at
the close of business on 13 February 2015. The ex-dividend date is 12 February
2015.
