Ortac Resources Ltd ("Ortac"), the AIM listed exploration and mine development company, announces that it was notified on 20 April 2015 that, on that date, Mr Anthony Balme, Executive Chairman of the Company, bought 1,500,000 ordinary shares at a price of 0.12p per share through the Carter Capital Pension Scheme (750,000 ordinary shares) and AMC Ltd (750,000 ordinary shares).

Following these transactions, Anthony Balme's beneficial holding has increased to 202,584,941 ordinary shares representing approximately 7.17 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

In the announcement dated 20 April 2015, the reference to the purchase of 2,500,000 ordinary shares by 'Carter Capital' should have been to 'the Carter Capital Pension Scheme'.
