The 600 Group PLC ("600" or "the Company"), the machine tools and laser marking company is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Eugene Fiamma as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Stephen is a consultant in the Tax Practice of Allen & Overy LLP. He has been based in London since 1983 and was a partner from 2000 to 2014. He earned an A.B. from Princeton University in 1975, and a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1978 and 1982, respectively. He has been a member of the Bars of the State of New York and of the United States Tax Court since 1979, and is a member of the Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association and of UK Branch Committee of the International Fiscal Association.  

Stephen specialises in tax planning for multi-national corporations and financial institutions, with particular emphasis on structuring corporate groups to achieve tax efficiencies and on the development of tax-advantaged financial products. In addition, Stephen has extensive experience in cross-border acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.

Save for the information set out below, there are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17, Schedule Two (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of the appointment of Stephen Fiamma, aged 62.

Stephen Fiamma is currently a Trustee of Princeton Charitable Foundation Limited and within the last 5 years was a Partner in Allen & Overy LLP.
