JKX OIL & GAS plc ("JKX")
Result of Annual General Meeting
JKX Oil & Gas plc ("JKX") announces that at its AGM held today all Resolutions with the exceptions of Ordinary Resolution 2 and Special Resolutions 9 and 10 set out in the Notice of Meeting were duly passed after taking into account the votes cast by shareholders.
The outcome of Ordinary Resolution 2 and Special Resolution 9 will not be determined until the conclusion of the appeal to the Supreme Court by Eclairs Group Limited ("Eclairs") and Glengary Overseas Limited ("Glengary") against the judgment of the Court of Appeal that the restriction notices served by JKX on Eclairs and Glengary are valid. Assuming that the Court of Appeal's judgment is upheld, Ordinary Resolution 2 and Special Resolution 9 will have been passed; but, if not, these Resolutions will not have been passed. Special Resolution 10 was not approved on either basis of counting.
