RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, SHARE CONSOLIDATION AND TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Result of AGM

The Directors of Amedeo Resources Plc (AIM: AMED) are pleased to announce that, at the Company's annual general meeting held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed.

Share Consolidation

Accordingly, with effect from 5.30 p.m. on 30 June 2015, the Company's ordinary share capital, currently comprising ordinary shares of 0.1p each, will be consolidated into shares of 10 pence each (Consolidated Shares).   The ISIN for the Consolidated Shares will be GB00BZ0XVY42 and trading in the Consolidated Shares is expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 1 July 2015.   For shareholders holding shares in the Company in certificated form, new share certificates are expected to be dispatched by 8 July 2015.   For shareholders holding shares in CREST, CREST accounts will be credited with the Consolidated Shares on 1 July 2015. 

Total Voting Rights

Following completion of the Consolidation and with effect from 5.30 p.m. on 30 June 2015, the issued share capital of the Company will consist of 32,653,843 Consolidated Shares.  The Company does not hold any shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of Common Shares in the Company with voting rights will be 32,653,843. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
