Board Changes at Hargreaves Lansdown plc

The Board of Hargreaves Lansdown plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Hill as Chief Financial Officer.  Chris will join from IG Group PLC, where he is currently and has been CFO for the last 4 years.  Chris has also previously gained experience at Travelex, General Electric and Arthur Andersen.

This appointment is subject to regulatory approval.  Chris is expected to take up his new post in March 2016.  Until that time Simon Cleveland, a Partner from Deloitte LLP, will continue to act as Interim Chief Financial Officer.

As at 7 August 2015, Chris Hill has confirmed that he does not hold any shares in the Hargreaves Lansdown plc.
