Howden Joinery Group Plc - Transaction in Own Shares 

Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 3 September 2015 it purchased through UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 490.19p per share:

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 4,800,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 647,030,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
