Spectris plc: Director/PDMR Shareholding

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4(1)(a).

Acquisition of shares in Spectris plc (“the Company”).

On 25 November 2015, Dr John Hughes CBE, Chairman of the Company, acquired 2,000 Ordinary shares of 5p each at a price of 1718.92 pence per share.

Following this transaction Dr Hughes’s total holding in shares of the Company is 10,000, representing less than 0.1% of its issued share capital.

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2, the Company was informed of the above transactions on 26 November 2015.  The above transaction took place in London.
