Director Declaration

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules, Spectris plc announces that John Hughes, its Chairman, was appointed as a non-executive director of Equinix, Inc. following its acquisition of Telecity Group plc, from which Mr Hughes has accordingly stepped down as Executive Chairman with effect from 15 January 2016.
