Result of Extraordinary General Meeting

Following the issue by the Board of JKX on 22 January 2016 of restriction notices on both Eclairs Group Limited ("Eclairs") and Glengary Overseas Limited ("Glengary") the Company has agreed, pending resolution by the court, to count votes on the basis that the votes of Eclairs and Glengary should be counted and on the basis that these should not be counted.

On the basis that these votes should not be counted, Resolutions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 as set out in the Notice of Meeting were passed.

On the basis that these votes should be counted, Resolutions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 as set out in the Notice of Meeting were passed.

Accordingly all resolutions put to the Meeting were passed.

Thomas Reed, Russell Hoare, Paul Ostling, Vladimir Tatarchuk and Vladimir Rusinov have been appointed to the Board of JKX and Nigel Moore, Dr Paul Davies, Peter Dixon, Martin Miller and Lord Oxford have stepped down from the Board.

Cynthia Dubin and Dipesh Shah resigned from the Board with immediate effect prior to the Extraordinary General Meeting today. Accordingly resolutions numbered 7 and 11 were withdrawn from consideration at the Extraordinary General Meeting. Richard Murray and Alastair Ferguson have resigned from the Board immediately following the Extraordinary General Meeting.

The voting figures on these two alternative bases are set out below.
