Directorate Change

Telford Homes (AIM:TEF), the London-focused residential property developer, is pleased to announce that Jane Margaret Earl has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect and will, in time, replace David Holland, who is retiring at the Group's next Annual General Meeting to be held on 14 July 2016.  Jane will then Chair the Remuneration Committee as well as being a member of the Audit Committee.

Jane Earl (aged 58) is a UK resident and holds a degree in law. She has a broad range of experience as non-executive director as well as a number of senior management titles across various governmental organisations and local councils.  Jane joined the Board of Sentinel Housing Association as non-executive director in May 2007, giving strategic and legal advice to a business with over £80 million of turnover. Previous non-executive positions include working on the Board of the Planning Inspectorate, the government organisation that deals with planning appeals, national infrastructure planning applications and examinations of local plans in England and Wales from 2007 until 2011.  Jane was a member of the Strategic Management Board and Audit Committee as well as acting as non-executive lead on the Remuneration Committee.

Earlier in her career, Jane served as director for the Government's Assets Recovery Agency.  In this role Jane was directly responsible to the Home Secretary and Parliament as a statutory office holder and delivered a major part of the Government's Asset Recovery Strategy.  During her successful career she has also acted as independent consultant to the London Development Agency and chaired numerous Audit and Risk committees for other public organisations.  Formerly, Jane acted as Chief Executive of Wokingham Unitary Council and took positions at a number of local government organisations across the South East of England.  Jane has also been on the Board of various charitable organisations and her most recent executive role was as the Chief Executive of the Rich Mix Cultural Foundation in Tower Hamlets.

Jon Di-Stefano, Chief Executive of Telford Homes, said: "We are delighted to welcome Jane to the Board.  Her extensive experience at a senior level in various government bodies, local authorities, housing associations and charities will undoubtedly be of great value to Telford Homes particularly given the importance of our relationships with planning authorities and housing associations.  The strength of these relationships has been a fundamental part of our rapid growth and success in developing homes across non-prime London.

"The Board would also like to extend our sincere thanks to David Holland for his significant contribution to the Company and its shareholders over the last 15 years.  As a non-executive director and previously Chairman, David has been instrumental to the Group's growth since our listing in 2001.  Whilst we look forward to his continued wise counsel until our AGM in July, we wish him a long and very happy retirement."

Save as set out at in this announcement there are no further matters to be disclosed under Rule 17 or paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.
