MURRAY INTERNATIONAL TRUST PLC ("the Company")

PURCHASE OF OWN ORDINARY SHARES

On 9 February 2016, the Company purchased in the market 15,000 Ordinary shares at an average price of 778.5 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital comprises:

127,188,389 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

910,364 Issued B Ordinary shares

128,098,753 Issued Ordinary and B Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

413,563 Ordinary shares held in treasury

The total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 128,098,753 (Ordinary Shares and B Ordinary Shares) and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
