ABERDEEN ASSET MANAGEMENT PLC ("the Company")

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, the Company advises that Martin James Gilbert and Hugh Young, both executive directors of the Company, were appointed as directors of Aberdeen Liquidity Fund (Lux), a Luxembourg domiciled undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS), with effect from 22 August 2016.
