APPOINTMENT OF NEW AUDITORS

The Bankers Investment Trust PLC (the 'Company') completed a selection process for the appointment of external auditors on 22 September 2016 and announces its intentions to appoint Ernst & Young LLP as its new external auditor for the year ending 31 October 2016, subject to completing the necessary processes.

An Audit Tender process was undertaken as the current audit partner was due to retire before the Company's year-end and would therefore be unable to undertake the audit in respect of the year ending 31 October 2016.

Shareholder approval to confirm the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP will be sought at the 2017 Annual General Meeting.
