Notification of Dealings in the Company's shares by Directors

The Company announces the following dealings in the Company's ordinary shares of 10p each ("Shares") undertaken by directors / persons discharging managerial responsibility ('PDMRs').

On 27 March 2017, Trevor Strain received 26,548 Ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company upon their release from an award granted under the rules of the Wm Morrison Supermarkets Deferred Share Bonus Plan ("DSBP") on 26 March 2014. 

These share awards are after settlement of income tax and employee's national insurance contributions.

The share price on release was 235.60 pence per share.

Trevor Strain's total shareholding following this purchase is 124,342 Shares.

On 28 March 2017, the Company granted the following conditional awards ("Awards") under the Wm Morrison Supermarkets Deferred Share Bonus Plan ("DSBP"). The number of shares granted being calculated using a market price of 235.08 pence per share.

The Awards will vest on 28 March 2020, but only to the extent that certain criteria are met. 

No consideration is payable on the grant or vesting of the Awards.
