Board changes

Mitie Group plc ("Mitie"), the facilities management, connected workspace and professional services business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Mapp as Chairman-elect. He is appointed to the Board today and will take over as Chairman from Roger Matthews at the AGM on July 26^th, when Roger will step down as Chairman and leave the Board after 11 years of service.

Derek has substantial experience, having sat on boards for over 20 years and been in non-executive chairman roles for the past nine years. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of both Informa plc and Huntsworth plc, following an extensive career in ownership, managerial, operational and commercial roles in service industries.

"I have worked with Roger for the past seven years and I have admired his ability to chair the Board in a collegiate and challenging way. He has ensured that the business has developed over that period, made the hard decisions and he is leaving the business having achieved a successful transition to a new management team and a refreshed Board, which can now focus on the future growth and development of Mitie. Derek Mapp, Chairman-elect said,

It is confirmed that there are no further details to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) and that Mr Mapp does not currently hold any shares in the Company.
