On 24 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 22,906 ordinary shares at a price of 231.95p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,638,951 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,944,251 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
