On 25 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,689 ordinary shares at a price of 232.28p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,640,640 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,942,562 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
