On 26 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 25,000 ordinary shares at a price of 236.0772p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,674,054 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,909,148 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
