The Company announces that it has today purchased 171,821 ordinary shares into Treasury at 373.65 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 48,367,608 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 233,266,302  The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
