On 15 September 2017, Haynes announced that contracts had been exchanged with Solera Holdings, Inc (Solera) for the purchase of the trade and assets of their E3 Technical business, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including the approval by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) of the acquisition as an Undertaking in Lieu of a reference in respect of the acquisition of Autodata Publishing Group Limited by Solera.

The CMA has today announced its approval of the acquisition of the E3 Technical business by Haynes as an Undertaking in Lieu of a reference. Full details of their decision can be found on the CMA website https://www.gov.uk/government/announcements.

Completion of the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of one other commercial condition precedent to closing, in relation to the granting to HaynesPro UK Limited of a DVLA licence. Further details will be provided once this condition has been satisfied.
