Hollywood Bowl, the UK's largest ten-pin bowling operator, is pleased to announce that Ivan Schofield will be appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 October 2017. On appointment, Ivan will become a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee.

 

Ivan has valuable and extensive experience in the leisure sector in the UK and across Continental Europe, having held a number of senior roles for YUM Brands Inc. over 15 years. This experience, coupled with consultancy work with LEK and as CEO of Itsu UK Retail, make Ivan's experience a welcome and exciting addition to the Board.

 

Peter Boddy, Chairman of the Company, said, "We are delighted to welcome Ivan as a Non-Executive Director. His background and experience as a CEO in the leisure sector will be of significant benefit to the Board."

 

Under paragraph 9.6.13R(3) of the Listing Rules, the Company discloses that Ivan Schofield was a director of EEDH Realisations Limited (formerly Ed's Easy Diner Holdings Limited), EEDG Realisations Limited (formerly Ed's Easy Diner Group Limited) and EED Overseas Limited between September 2015 and February 2016. Each of these companies entered administration in October 2016 following the completion of a pre-packaged sale of their business and assets.

 

There are no additional matters to declare under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
