Notification of Repurchase of Convertible Bonds

intu properties plc (the "Company") announces that it has repurchased a further £34,900,000 in aggregate principal amount of the £300,000,000 2.50 per cent. Convertible Bonds due 2018 issued by intu (Jersey) Limited and guaranteed by the Company (the "Convertible Bonds").  

Following the previous purchases of £104,700,000 in aggregate principal amount of the Convertible Bonds, which were announced on 28 September 2017, 4^th October and 5^th October, and this purchase, £160,400,000 in aggregate principal amount of the Convertible Bonds remains outstanding. 

The Company may look to make further repurchases from time to time, subject to market conditions.

The Convertible Bonds which have been purchased will either be surrendered by the Company to the issuer for cancellation or be held until their maturity date.

This notification complies with LR 12.5.2 in relation to the repurchase of an additional 5% of the principal amount of the Convertible Bonds initially issued.  Further announcements will be made in accordance with the Listing Rules in the event that more Convertible Bonds are purchased.
