Transaction in own shares

Centaur Media Plc (LSE: CAU) (the "Company") announces that, on 9 October 2017, it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange from Numis Securities Limited as part of its buyback programme announced on 16 August 2017.

The Ordinary Shares which have been purchased by the Company will be held in treasury.

Following the above purchase(s), the Company holds 6,936,313 Ordinary Shares in treasury and has 144,473,913 Ordinary Shares in issue, excluding those held in treasury.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 144,473,913 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation), the schedule below contains detailed information about the purchase(s) made by Numis Securities Limited on behalf of the Company as part of the buyback programme.
