The Company announces that it has today purchased 42,000 ordinary shares into Treasury at 389.89 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 48,985,153 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 232,648,757.  The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
