Appointment of new non-executive director

Vordere is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Cheek as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 23 October 2017.

Stuart Cheek has over 35 years' experience in the financial services sector, especially in sales and marketing, operating in regulated securities trading in the UK. He began his career on the floor of the London Stock Exchange and then the London International Financial Futures Exchange. He later became one of the original partners at Cantor Fitzgerald where he ran the Sterling Bond Division before moving into Investment Banking. He spent over 12 years at UBS and then Santander as Managing Director and Head of UK Institutional Sales, where he was responsible for overseeing and integrating sales and relationship management across various asset classes. At Santander he was responsible for creating, marketing and launching the Santander Gilt Edged Market Making operation and liaising with the Bank of England.

From 2009-10 Mr. Cheek was a partner, Managing Director and Head of UK Government Bonds at BGC Partners, where he ran and grew the government bonds desk and ancillary sterling products. He also appeared on financial segments on Bloomberg, CNN, SKY news and BBC.

Mr. Cheek is a co-founder of GFG Fund PCC Limited ("GFG Fund") and GFG Limited, along with Nicholas Hofgren, who is Vordere's Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Cheek was appointed as a Director of GFG Fund on 14 March 2014. GFG Limited is a privately owned, independent investment management and investment banking firm that manages, inter alia, GFG Fund. GFG Limited provides advisory services to the Company in connection with potential offers or private placements, credit facilities, acquisitions and disposals. GFG Fund holds 46,604,453 shares in the Company, which is 25.1% of the total issued share capital. Mr Cheek also directly holds 78,163 ordinary shares in the Company.  

Mr. Cheek is also founder and director of his own financial consultancy company called Randall Duke Ltd. 

Nicholas Hofgren, Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are delighted that Stuart Cheek will be joining the Board to further strengthen the skills and experience. I look forward to welcoming him to the Board in due course".  

There are no disclosures required in respect of this appointment pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority, with the exception of Mr Cheek's former appointment as a Director of The Bespoke Hardwood Flooring Company Limited, which was dissolved by way of a creditors' voluntary liquidation in November 2003.
