DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Lamprell announces the appointment of James Dewar in the role of Non-Executive Director for the Company.  Mr Dewar will join the Board with effect from 1 November 2017.  Biographical details for Mr Dewar are set out below.

The composition of the Board Committees will be amended in light of this appointment with Mr Dewar to be appointed as a member of both the Audit & Risk Committee and the Remuneration & Development Committee.

James Dewar biography

James Dewar, 60, spent nearly 30 years working in the oil and gas industry, many of them in senior executive roles notably in business CFO roles and as VP Transformation and VP Global Financial Systems for BP.  He also served as Group CFO for Dana Gas PJSC, a company listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. 

Mr Dewar retired from executive roles at the end of 2011 to take up advisory and non-executive positions in companies operating in key jurisdictions for the energy sector. These included PICO Petroleum Corporation and Cheiron Petroleum in Egypt, Equus Petroleum PLC, in London and Kazakhstan, and Viking International, headquartered in the UAE.  He has provided these companies, and others,  with the benefit of his industry experience and advice including acting in many cases as the chair of their audit committees, driving world class corporate governance at board committee level.

Mr Dewar has a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy & Marketing from Strathclyde University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
