Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Murray Income Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Peter Tait as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 7 November 2017. Peter was appointed from a shortlist of strong candidates compiled by an independent search consultancy.

Neil Rogan, Chairman, commented on the appointment:

"I would like to welcome Peter to the Board. Peter recently retired from the Nestlé Group where he was initially Head of Investments for the Nestlé UK Pension Fund and then CEO & CIO of Nestlé Capital Management.  Prior to Nestlé he worked for many years in the investment management industry managing portfolios for investment trusts, pension funds and charitable foundations."

Mr Tait does not hold any interests in the shares of the Company.

No disclosures are required for Mr Tait in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13R (1) - (6) of the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules.
