Board appointment - Clinical Quality Director

Totally plc (AIM: TLY), the provider of a range of out-of-hospital services to the healthcare sector in the UK, is pleased to announce that Gloria Cooke has been appointed to the Board with immediate effect as Clinical Quality Director. Gloria is currently a key member of the senior management team of the Company having joined the Company in April 2016 as interim head of Group Clinical Governance before becoming Director of Clinical Governance & Quality in a non-board capacity in July 2016.

Under the role of Clinical Quality Director, an executive board position, Gloria will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and establishment of systems and processes across the Group, ensuring it meets all the required standards for quality and safety. Gloria also leads on all aspects of work relating to clinical regulation and clinical governance.

Gloria has had a forty-year career within the NHS, initially in both adult and children's nursing, practising for ten years in A&E but ultimately as head of nursing for a large integrated service. Her NHS management career has covered a wide range of services rising to Group Operations Director for one of the largest acute trusts in the UK managing three district general hospitals. In five years of independent practice Gloria has fulfilled roles as Interim Deputy COO, Director of Transformation and as professional consultant undertaking service reviews. Gloria currently also acts as a non-executive director of companies operating within the retail sector.

Gloria Ann Cooke (neé Urquhart), aged 64, currently holds 15,652 share options in Totally that were awarded on 12 December 2016 under the Company's existing Save as You Earn share scheme ("SAYE"). The share options have an exercise price of 46 pence per share and are exercisable between 1 January 2020 and 1 July 2020.

Premier Physical Healthcare and Optimum Physiotherapy - occupational physiotherapy to NHS, prisons and the police force as well as private clients 

Wholly owned subsidiaries of Totally plc, providing a comprehensive range of treatments and advice for musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. The businesses deliver physiotherapy and podiatry to NHS patients, have contracts with various police forces and prison sites and provide occupational health and ergonomic services to corporate and private clients. Totally completed the acquisition of Premier Physical Healthcare Limited on 1 April 2016 and Optimum Sports Performance Centre Limited on 14 November 2016.
