Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 14 June 2012, bought back 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 124.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,000 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 104,543,171 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
