In conformity with the Transparency Directive, the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 28th April 2017, the Company's issued share capital consists of 16,448,249 Ordinary 25 pence shares with voting rights and 3,553,839 Subscription Shares of 0.1 pence each with no voting rights. JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc does not hold any shares in Treasury.

Therefore, as at 28th April 2017, the total number of voting rights in JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc is 16,448,249.

The above figure (16,448,249) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, JPM Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
