The Company announces that it has today purchased 21,608 ordinary shares into Treasury at 388.49 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 45,339,525 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 236,294,385.  The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
