TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

UIL Limited (the "Company") announces that on 27 June 2017 the Company purchased for cancellation 75,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 164.46p per share.

Therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in issue in the Company is now 90,222,208.

The above figure (90,222,208) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
