Transaction in own shares

The Company announces that on 16 February 2018 it purchased 82,565 of its ordinary shares of 5p each ("Shares") through UBS, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 6 September 2017.

The Company intends to hold the purchased Shares in Treasury.

Following the purchase of these Shares, the Company holds 4,974,395 of its Shares in Treasury and has 135,182,788 Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares).  This is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of LR 12.4.6.
