PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES

Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 23 February 2018 the Company purchased 250,000 ordinary shares at a price of 170.16 pence per share, to be held in treasury.

Following this purchase, the Company's issued share capital consists of 151,616,684   ordinary shares of 25p each, and an additional 9,300,500 ordinary shares held in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 151,616,684. 

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for  the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
