LONDON (ShareCast) - Canadian mining company Rambler Metals & Mining has received final approval for the Nugget Pond Crown Pillar gold project, with first production planned for May 2011.
The project is located on the Baie Verte Peninsula in northeastern Newfoundland.
Elsewhere in Newfoundland, the company said its Tilt Cove East Mine project has been released from environmental assessment. Rambler Metals expects this project to begin in June 2011 with first production immediately following processing at Nugget Pond Crown Pillar.
The company’s chief executive officer, George Ogilvie, expressed his excitement at seeing these two projects move towards production and generating some early cash flow for the company.
