LONDON (ShareCast) - As part of a new global management structure, fizzy drinks and snacks maker PepsiCo has named Brian Cornell as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Pepsi Americas Foods. As such, Cornell will head operations at Frito-Lay, Quaker Foods & Snack, and other divisions.
Cornell was president and CEO of Wal-Mart's Sam's Club division. At Pepsi Americas Foods he will replace John Compton, who will become president of PepsiCo, a newly created title. Nooyi Compton will remain chairman and CEO of the group and will also head operations, marketing, and strategy.
