London close: Stocks slip on slew of UK data

(Sharecast News) - London stocks ended lower on Monday as investors digested a series of UK economic data and monitored developments in North American trade negotiations.
The FTSE 100 index fell 0.43% to close at 8,760.96 points, while the FTSE 250 slipped 0.41% to 21,626.26 points.
