London open: FTSE nudges lower ahead of Fed; BAT slumps after results

(Sharecast News) - London stocks nudged lower in early trade on Tuesday following a negative close on Wall Street, as investors continued to eye the latest policy announcement from the Federal Reserve.
At 0845 GMT, the FTSE 100 was down 0.1% at 9,636.61.
