(Sharecast News) - London stocks ended higher on Tuesday, recovering from earlier losses as investors grew more optimistic about progress in US trade negotiations.
The FTSE 100 index rose 0.28% to close at 8,785.33 points, while the FTSE 250 gained 0.54% to finish at 21,743.16 points.
