Oil, gold prices surge after Israel attacks Iran

(Sharecast News) - Oil prices continued to surge on Friday, alongside a rush for safe-haven assets, after Israel launched a series of air strikes against Iran.
As at 1200 BST, benchmark Brent crude had put on 8% at $74.74 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate was also 8% higher, at $73.66.
