London open: Stocks slide on Trump tariff worries

(Sharecast News) - London stocks slid in early trade on Monday after US President Donald Trump announced over the weekend that he will be imposing 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico, and an additional 10% tariff on China.
At 0822 GMT, the FTSE 100 was down 1.3% at 8,563.32.
