London open: Stocks tick higher but Entain tumbles on CEO departure

(Sharecast News) - London stocks edged up in early trade on Tuesday, hitting fresh record highs as investors continued to mull Trump's latest tariff announcement, but Ladbrokes owner Entain slid as it announced the sudden departure of its chief executive.
At 0845 GMT, the FTSE 100 was up 0.2% at 8,786.24.
