(Sharecast News) - The market spotlight on Tuesday will be on the US, where a flurry of economic indicators are due out.
First out, at 1400 BST S&P and the FHFA will release their respective house price indices covering the month of December.
Also due out are regional factory survey results from the Federal Reserve Banks of Richmond and Dallas, at 1500 and 1530 BST, respectively.
In parallel, at 1500 BST the Conference Board will release the results of its consumer confidence survey for the month of February.
Those data will be followed at 1645 BST by Federal Reserve Governor Michael Barr, who is scheduled to deliver a speech, followed by Lorie Logan from the Dallas Fed.
In the euro area, at 0700 BST Germany's ministry of finance will publish gross domestic product data covering the fourth quarter.
Bank of England chief economist Huw Pill will also deliver remarks, at 1400 BST.
