Thomson Reuters Overview

Thomson Reuters was created in April 2008 with the merger of The Thomson Corporation and Reuters. Thomson's news and financial information division was integrated with Reuters to form Thomson Reuters Markets, while Thomson Healthcare, Thomson Legal, Thomson Scientific, and Thomson Tax & Accounting operate as Thomson Reuters Professional. Thomson Reuters has a share of around 34% of the financial data provision market.
