Its therapeutic areas of focus are central nervous system (CNS) disorders, pain management and cardiovascular disease (including Type II diabetes). Biovail operates facilities in Barbados, Canada, the United States of America, Ireland and Puerto Rico. Its major production facility is located in Steinbach, Manitoba. The company is publicly listed on both the Toronto and New York Stock Exchanges.
